Proclamation Request guideline

Proclamation Request Guidelines:

All requests must be made in writing by filling out a "Proclamation Request Form." 

Request forms will be accepted no more than six months in advance and will not be issued more than three months in advance of the event. 

Please allow a minimum of two weeks for processing.  If less than five days notice is given, the request may be declined.

Five originals will be sent per year, per constituent.

The Governor's office reserves the right to decline any request for a proclamation or to make any exception to the guidelines.

An out-of-state applicant must find an in-state sponsor or in-state co-applicant.



Louisiana.gov
